Stacey Davidson is named on of Vernon's Top 20 Over 40

Help finding a job

The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce has released its Top 20 Over 40 list for 2020, and Castanet will be featuring all of the honourees.

If you're unemployed, or just seeking out a different occupation, Stacey Davidson would be the person to go to.

She runs her own company called Virtual Job Search Coach, where she trains her clients to excel in interviews and on how to write a top-notch resume.

"I work with job seekers globally," says Davidson. "I've worked with over 1,100 job seekers, and I have a 98 per cent success rate, which I am very proud of."

Davidson is also heavily involved in the community. She has been on the Okanagan Science Centre Board, the Allan Brooks Nature Centre Board, and has run programs in her spare time to help local small business owners and volunteered to mentor people at many events.

She finds her volunteer time and her profession both very rewarding, and she loves to help people when they need it.

"The impact I can have on someone's life as being part of the hiring process is very rewarding," Davidson says. "Especially when I'm working with someone who has just been terminated, I find I have this natural gift to draw out the strengths of the person I am helping."

The Chamber's Top 20 Over 40 is sponsored by KPMG, the Regional District of North Okanagan and Castanet.
