Spring is just around the corner, and green thumbs are getting itchy fingers.
But Vernon gardeners can get a jump start on the season at Seedy Saturday.
The Sustainable Environment Network event takes place March 21 at the Vernon Recreation Centre, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Celebrate seeds, gardening, bees, local food and community, with locally grown heirloom seeds, starters, plants and garden products for sale. There will also be locally produced food, honey and more.
There's also a free community seed exchange, educational displays, children's activities, and inspiring garden and plant speakers.
Admission is by donation ($2 suggestion).
