Vernon Winter Carnival has lots to do on Day 2

A grooving good time

It's the second full day of the 60th annual Vernon Winter Carnival and the events just keep coming.

The winner of the BC Snow Sculpture Championships will be crowned Sunday at Silver Star Mountain Resort, and people can stop by the village to check out all the amazing works of art.

And while you are at the Star, check out the annual Over the Hill Downhill which wraps up Sunday.

The 51st Annual Feather Fancier Show and Antique and Collectibles Sale takes place at the Vernon recreation complex from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The show will feature more than 400 birds including pigeons, poultry and waterfowl.

The Vintage Snowmobile Poker Run starts at 2 p.m. at the Silver Star Snowmobile Area. Just follow the signs on Sovereign Lake Road.

Grooving with the Grandkids takes place at the Greater Vernon Museum and Archives from 2-4 p.m.

And the popular Okanagan's Got Talent continues at the Village Green Hotel from 5-7 p.m.
