Street parking in Armstrong prohibited for the next 24 hours

The City of Armstrong has issued a notice stating that all parked vehicles on city streets must be removed for the next 24 hours.

An estimated 15-20 cm of snow and a risk of freezing rain prompted the city to issue this statement to ensure safe conditions for road cleaning crews. Parked vehicles can pose a hazard to the crews when plowing, hauling and sanding during the snow removal process.

If there are vehicles parked on the street, the City of Armstrong has the authority to tow the vehicle at the owner's expense. In the press release, the City of Armstrong thanks the residents for their co-operation in the road maintenance process.
