Police are looking for armed robbery suspect in Salmon Arm

Just after 4 p.m. Monday, a man with a gun held up a financial institution on Ross Street in Salmon Arm.

The man wore a balaclava and pointed a gun at the clerk demanding cash.

Police believe the suspect took off east in the downtown.

He is described as a tall man with a skinny build, dressed in black wearing a sunglasses with the balaclava.

The black track pants he was wearing had two white stripes running down the legs.

After heavy police patrols, the man is still out there and the RCMP is investigating.
