Sunny skies will give way to rain for the next few days

Enjoy the sun while you can because rain is on the way.

Enjoy it while you can because this gorgeous fall sun is not expected to last.

Okanagan residents were blessed with blue skies and warm temperatures Thursday, but according to Environment Canada, those skies will turn gloomy later in the day with a 60 per cent chance of rain late in the afternoon and through the night.

Friday is cloudy with sunny periods and a high of 12, but there is a 60 per cent chance of rain from one end of the Valley to the other.

The weekend is not looking much better for the Okanagan with a 40 per cent chance of rain Saturday and 60 per cent Sunday.

Highs are expected to reach 10C with lows at the 3C mark.

Forecasters are calling for similar conditions through Wednesday of next week.
