Vernon Fire Rescue Services is hosting a public information session to show what each person can do to reduce the risk of forest fires.
B.C. is undergoing severe wildfire conditions and there is an urgent need of change.
A few of those are ways as to how we deal with extreme conditions and the hazards associated with longer fire seasons.
The session will take place on Oct 17 at 6 p.m. at the Lakers Clubhouse in Vernon.
There will be a wide range of experts speaking, as well as a panel discussion with all the experts at the end.
