It's the most rewarding time you'll spend idling in a drive-thru line.
The 18th Annual North Okanagan Drive-Thru Breakfast runs Thursday from 6 to 9 a.m. at the main entrance of the Prestige Vernon Lodge at 3914 32 St.
This event marks the kickoff for the 2019-2020 United Way Campaign in the region.
"The main entrance of Prestige Vernon Lodge will transform into a drive-thru experience like no other in exchange for donations to support vital social programs in your community," said Tracy Williamson, community engagement manager for the event in a release.
The breakfast bag is filled with goodies, special offers and surprises, Williamson said. Drive-thru supporters will receive Tim Horton’s coffee and treats, a fresh-baked Cobs treat, dog treats, Dasani water, and a chance to win grand prizes.
