Taking their best shot

Cadets will be heading to SilverStar Mountain this weekend to take their best shot.

Sea, army and air cadets in the Okanagan region will be competing at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre during the annual cadet biathlon competition.

Biathlons combine cross country skiing with marksmanship.

Cadets will compete in team and individual categories following a training session on Saturday.

The winning cadets from each category will advance to the provincial competition Feb. 8-10 at Mt. Washington, B.C.

Winners from the provincial competition will represent Pacific Region Cadets at the national championships March 5-10 at Brookvale, PEI.
