A Xmas dinner for everyone

There is a place for everyone to enjoy Christmas dinner Tuesday.

Enjoy the 10th annual Come Together for Christmas turkey dinner on Dec. 25 in Vernon.

The St. James Parish Centre will host the event for the homeless, working poor and the lonely.

Last year the Together for Christmas Society served almost 400 guests and delivered to local "shut-in" residents.

The meal includes a homemade turkey dinner, with all the trimmings, desserts and beverages.

Live entertainment will fill the room right when the doors open until the last guest leaves.

Crafting will also be available for anyone interested.

Each guest will be provided with a gift bag that includes treats and small donations from local businesses.

The Together for Christmas society would like to thank the public for their generous donations, products and financial support that keep this dinner running year after year.

The dinner will take place at St. James School from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Dinner will be served at 4 p.m.

Free transportation or free dinner delivery is available by contacting Jae at 250-308-9973.
