On the naughty list

It would seem some people are being naughty this Yule Tide season.

According to the Vernon RCMP Facebook page, police have kicked the holiday road checks into high gear, issuing several violation tickets during the evening of Dec. 5.

Two 90-day immediate roadside prohibitions were issued along with a 24-hour roadside suspension. Violation tickets for no insurance, no driver's license, open liquor in a vehicle and failing to stop for police were also issued.

This serves as a good reminder that police will be out conducting road checks throughout the month of December.
