Fire consumes Oyama home

Castanet has received multiple news tips of a fire that sparked consuming a Lake Country home late Saturday night.

Just after 9 p.m. fire engines and about 15 firefighters were on scene battling the blaze on Trewhitt Road in Oyama.  

According to the news tip, no one was believed to be home at the time of the fire.

A nearby resident noticed the blaze and quickly called 911.

Castanet has received no further information at this time.
