They are motivated simply by a desire to help.
And once again volunteers with Santas Anonymous will be providing toys for less fortunate children in the North Okanagan.
Perry Wainwright, with SA, said they help upwards of 450 children each Christmas from Enderby to Cherryville and all points in between.
“We help the kids from zero to 12 who need help to have a nice Christmas,” said Wainwright.
The hundreds of toys are donated to Santas Anonymous or purchased by the group to give away.
Anyone wanting to donate can drop off new or gently used items at SA, 4320 29th St. while SA is open. They ask people do not leave donations in front of the building after hours.
Santas Anonymous also has donation barrels set up at numerous locations throughout the city.
Parents can book a time to stop by SA and pick out presents for their children by calling 250-542-4448.
SA is open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and parents must bring their care cards to the appointment.
