Erin can do it all

Erin Murphy has worked at Walmart for 10 years.

She is a Special Olympian who helped win a national basketball championship and she volunteers for Vernon Tourism, and she's not done yet.

The Province has declared October Community Inclusion Month with the goal of celebrating people with diversibilities, just like Erin.

“She's a member of the community council which gives a voice to the crown agency CLBC as to what individuals need in terms of support, she is a very active sports woman and she volunteers at Vernon Tourism,” said Debbie Moore, Erin's friend.

“I just think she has a very full and very happy life and it's very gratifying to see just what the contribution is that she makes to our community.”

Erin said she enjoys working in the fashion department at Walmart and spending time with her friends.
