One hot wedding!

A Fintry couple had the hottest wedding of the month, literally.

Craig and Dianna Agnew tied the knot earlier this month and thought it would be a good idea to take some of their wedding photos in and in front of a classic 55 Chevy pick-up truck.

Craig used to own the truck but sold it to a friend a few years back and wanted the truck in the photos as a keepsake.

Unfortunately for everyone, the truck burst into flames in the background of one of the photos and was completely destroyed!

Dianna Agnew says people who have seen the photo have asked why they would set a truck on fire for their wedding photos, "it was not intentional, a lot of people thought that when they saw the photos. It's not a great thing that happened but it's definitely a day to remember."

Dianna and Craig had just finished their I dos and were at one point in the back of the truck for a photo,  "we got into the box of the 55 Chevy and went for a joy ride and next thing we heard a bang and boom the transmission blew!"

The happy couple managed to get to safety, as did the driver and instead of just watching it burn they decided to capture the moment for posterity.

"Luckily we got out safe and the driver and passenger inside the truck only suffered minor 3rd-degree burns!"

The couple just returned from their honeymoon in Tofino and will now have a tremendous story to tell their grandchildren.
