Healthy lifestyle for seniors

Learn about the benefits exercise and socializing can have on seniors at an information seminar coming up next month.

The UBC-Interior Health research study looks into the many health benefits that walking and socializing have on seniors.

The free program offers older adults the chance to socialize, exercise, learn and explore a local area, and enjoy the natural environment. All walks are safe and fun.

The information session takes place on Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Downtown Vernon Okanagan Regional Library.
