True Leaf meow for cats

True Leaf is branching out. 

The Vernon-based, "plant-focused wellness brand for people and their pets," company is expanding to the world of cats. 

It will launch its line of hemp-based treats specially formulated for cats at Interzoo, May 8-11, 2018, in Nuremberg, Germany.

"True Leaf Pet exists to help pets live happier, healthier lives," said Darcy Bomford, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of True Leaf. "We will soon offer millions of cat owners a line of treats that provide the same benefits as our popular hemp-based products for dogs."

The hemp-treats will be a first for felines. 

"The innovative treats have a crunchy outer shell and a soft inner core made with hemp – a first to the industry worldwide. The functional treats will provide calming support for cats, promote skin and coat health, help prevent hairballs, and also support urinary tract function."

Interzoo is the world’s biggest trade fair for the international pet industry. The event will feature companies from more than 70 countries. 

Over the past few months, True Leaf has focused on European expansion. The company's products can now be found in has partnered with in Norway, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, and Greece. 

True Leaf Pet products are now available in more than 470 stores across Europe, and more than 1,800 across the world.
