A beautiful garden will come to life at Kidston Elementary School later this month.
It has been a long time coming but students, teachers and parents are welcoming everyone in the community come out and help build phase 1 (new and expanded garden area) of the Kidston Discovery Gardens on April 28.
The event will run rain or shine. Make sure to bring lunch, rubber boots, sunscreen and a work tool to help move soil and build garden beds.
A healthy dessert will be provided.
"Offering an outdoor space where students can explore with their senses and cultivate confidence through growing gardens and discovery has been a long dream at Kidston Elementary," says the website.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
