Your worst nightmare

Chantelle Deacon

"I need him to stop because I'm terrified that he will try to get into my bedroom while I'm sleeping."

It's Sarah Dube's worst nightmare, that's why the Vernon woman wants the person who keeps sneaking onto her bedroom patio in the early morning hours to get caught.

"I want his face out there so the police can get somewhere," Dube said. "This man has been stealing from us for five months now."

She has caught him on camera about four times, with the most recent being early Tuesday morning, and says, she even upgraded her security footage to capture a better image of the suspect.

"I am right next to Seaton Highschool on 28 Street," said Dube. "He is always wearing the same jacket with reflectors on them and in the daylight, the jacket is very dirty, it is yellow and grey."

"Always at about 5:30 in the morning. In the snow, you can follow the tracks, he hits every house along our street."

Dube says the man is in his early 40s, about six-feet-tall, very slender build, with dirty blonde hair.

"I hope people keep sharing this video and it gets out there and he gets caught," she said.  "I feel violated, the area he keeps stealing from is at my bedroom patio door. I was just waking up when he was there."

Dube has contacted the Vernon RCMP and the incident is currently under investigation.

She posted the original video to the Vernon Rant and Rave Facebook page.
