Saying goodbye to Gloria

The memorial for Gloria 'G' Miller who disappeared while scuba diving in Mexico will take place Sunday, March 11.

Miller who recently turned 50 years old went missing during a scuba diving excursion in Puerto Vallarta, Mex. on Feb. 15.

An extensive search by land, water and air was conducted by a number of government agencies and volunteers.

Miller is known as a loving, caring and kind soul and will be remembered by anyone who knew her including her only child, Noah Miller who she was very close with, her husband David Chambers and her many other family members and friends.

The celebration of life will take place at 1 p.m. at the Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre.

The memorial was posted by David Chambers and included one final thought about 'G.':

"She was a fun herder! She was extraordinary! She was our sunshine!

"In lieu of flowers please donate generously to Vernon Search and Rescue and organization that Miller admired."
