Meal train rolls for family

Support is pouring in for an Armstrong family that lost their home in a fire last week.

On Feb. 16, the Munro family, Jordan and Sarah along with their four children, Cassidy, 12, Rory, 10, Eve, 8, and Carter, 6, escaped the fire with little more than the clothes on their back.

The day after the fire, a Gofundme page was started with a goal of raising $5,000 to help the family get back on their feet.

As of 4 p.m., Tuesday Feb. 20, more than $5,700 had been raised.

But it is not just money people are donating.

Through a website called Meal Train, people are signing up to drop off a home-cooked meal for the family of six.

The website lets people sign up for whatever day they can provide a meal, complete with what the meal will be.

There are also instructions on how to get the meals to the family who are not sure where they will be living for the next few weeks or longer.

Along with money and food, people are offering clothes, toys and other items to the family.
