Fresh powder at ski resorts

If you're hoping for fresh powder, then today is the day to hit the slopes.

Ski hills across the Okanagan had big dumps of snow overnight on Saturday while continuing to snow well into Sunday.

At Silver Star, 17 centimetres of fresh snow landed on the slopes over the past 24 hours.

More than 20 centimetres has fallen at Apex near Penticton and 19 centimetres has fallen at Baldy Mountain Resort east of Oliver, in the last 24 hours.

Big White received the least amount of snow with about 6 centimetres of the white stuff falling in the last 24 hours.

It might just be the perfect Sunday for snow lovers across the Okanagan, so hit the slopes before heading back to work tomorrow.
