Security footage of a bobcat is turning heads on social media. 

Bob Lindley was taking a look at his home's security footage when he came across the wildcat. 

"My neighbour said he is sick and tired of cats in his yard at night so I set up my wifi cameras to see what was heading to his yard," Lindley said. "He was going to trap it." 

The video footage was taken just outside his house on Blue Jay Road in Vernon. 

The video received tons of feedback on Facebook, mostly pointing out how healthy the bobcat looks. 

Bobcat sightings are common in the area this time of year.
