Sewell speaks out

Vernon's Samantha Sewell continues to speak out against bullying as she takes part in pageants.

Sewell recently won her fifth title in three years, earning the Miss MRI Canada crown.

She will be representing Canada and her home town on July 8th, 2018 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Sewell heads the Canadian chapter for the 'Live Out Loud' charity which raises funds to train people in bullying prevention and suicide prevention.

Sewell coined the phrase “ Be someone's hero, not a bystander” after being bullied herself.

Sewell attended over 80 events last year in support of Canadian charities and community groups.
