The Allan Brooks Nature Centre wants people to get nocturnal in time for Halloween.
For their final event of the year, the ABNC will be hosting Nature Nocturnal Oct. 28 from 4-8 p.m.
Participants will learn about nighttime nature and see what happens around them in the wild when they are fast asleep.
There will also be a guided nighttime nature walk through the grasslands
The Royal Astronomical Society will also be on hand and people can see the new sundial recently installed in the grasslands area.
Stuart Brown and The Bug Guys will be on site with some creepy crawly creatures including snakes and a tarantula.
People of all ages are welcome for this by-donation event which includes plenty of activities for the kids, including crafts, a bonfire, bobbing for apples, nighttime nature education and more.
Be sure to dress weather appropriate, bring a flashlight and wear your Halloween costume if you like.
