Good Sam trial continues

The BC Supreme Court trial of a man accused of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon continued in Vernon Wednesday, entirely in French.

Maurice Taillon, 62, has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from an incident three years ago where he allegedly stabbed Cameron Ormiston, 39, who had invited Taillon into his Spallumcheen home to spend the night in November, 2014.

A publication ban has been put in place so details of today's proceedings can not be reported.

The trial is expected to continue Thursday.
