$500,000 winning ticket

While no one in B.C. took home the massive $60 million Lotto Max jackpot, or the $24.5 million Lotto 6-49 jackpot – one Vernon resident may be $500,000 richer.

According to the Lotto Max results page, a winning Extra ticket was sold for Friday’s Lotto Max draw in Vernon. That ticket matched four out of four numbers and is worth $500,000.

It is currently unknown who is holding the lucky ticket, so make sure to check those numbers if you play the Extra.

As for the bigger payouts, there were two winning tickets for the $60-million jackpot.

One was sold in Edmonton, and the other in Conception Bay South, N.L.

Each ticket is worth $30 million.

Saturday’s Lotto 6-49 draw saw one winning ticket for the $24.5-million jackpot that was purchased somewhere in Ontario.
