No Realtors rate higher than TJ Dumonceaux and Steph Ostash

The reviews do not lie.

No real estate agents in Kelowna are rated better by their clients than Stephanie Ostash and TJ Dumonceaux, who make up the award-winning TJ & Steph Real Estate Group.

The duo, which is affiliated with Royal LePage Kelowna, has found itself atop the standings at Rate-My-Agent.com for two years running, which is an impressive accomplishment when you consider the competitive nature and number of Realtors in the Central Okanagan market.

“That’s the big thing,” Ostash says. “There’s just so many agents or teams out there that do a lot of high volume, but when you speak to the client about their experience it wasn’t very good. And these ratings at Rate-My-Agent are based one hundred percent on client experience.”

There are many reasons why TJ & Steph rates so highly, from attention to detail to their own experiences in real estate. They own plenty of property themselves, so even though they are young compared to most Realtors, they know of what they speak.

“We both own investment real estate, so we can practise what we preach,” Dumonceaux says. “We actually know what it feels like to leverage an asset and to pull equity out and to go to a BRRRR (buy, rehab, rent, refinance, repeat) or to renovate a home.”

It’s always good to interview someone who is going to be handling one of the biggest investments of your life, and that is why TJ & Steph treat it as such. No detail is left behind, and they work together so well. Dumonceaux is the big-picture visionary, while Ostash is the micromanager who does whatever needs to be done for the client.

They also go above and beyond, which Dumonceaux proved last June when he found himself helping to build a client’s fence during the heat dome that smothered the B.C. Interior. Even if it’s not their job, they will still do whatever it takes to ensure their client is happy and informed.

“The number one thing for us is our partnership,” Ostash says. “We hear time and time again, from managing brokers, other agents and clients: It is so unique to have in any industry, but especially real estate, two agents who can work so well together and trade off seamlessly almost as if we’re one person without any details being missed or skipped.”

Rate-My-Agent.com is serious about its system, triple checking all reviews to ensure their authenticity. It also penalizes agents who are caught cheating with fake reviews. That means the words of appreciation for Ostash and Dumonceaux on the site are genuine.

“Stephanie just helped my wife and I buy a house in Lake Country,” Mike Stefanelli wrote on Rate-My-Agent.com. “I have purchased a number of properties during the course of my life and I have never had a better agent than Stephanie. She is competent, professional, approachable, and very nice to work with. I have also never received such support in all aspects of purchasing a home. Stephanie’s team is equally talented.

“Stephanie also provided us recommendations on lawyers, house inspectors, mortgage brokers, and contractors for some renovations we would like to do. If you are going to use a realtor, you might as well use the best. That is Stephanie.”

The tone is just as glowing for Dumonceaux.
