468 West lets you live in the middle of Kelowna's Pandosy Village

Rent in the heart of it all

The average price of a single-family house in Kelowna continues to skyrocket, but that does not mean you can’t find a home in the heart of one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.

Mission Group is currently constructing 468 West, a six-storey boutique development that will consist of 48 rental homes in Pandosy Village.

Renting at 468 West means immersing yourself in it all. It is within walking or biking distance of everything that makes living in the Okanagan so attractive.

Okanagan Lake is less than a block away, which means the beaches are even closer. There are several parks, 24 restaurants and cafés, and a plethora of shops and services located nearby. Kelowna General Hospital is just up Pandosy Street and easily within walking distance, too.

Then again, you might not want to venture outside as you will be just as comfortable living in your home. Each home at 468 West is equipped with a private balcony or patio, in-suite washer and dryer, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and free private, high-speed internet. Additionally, the steel and concrete construction make for excellent sound dampening.

The breathtaking views of the lake and the valley are free of charge.

“Our intention with 468 West was to create an amenity rich rental community that allowed residents to truly experience an elevated lifestyle,” Mission Group CEO Jon Friesen says. “We are excited to introduce a development that serves Kelowna in a new way.”

468 West will also feature a second floor that is full of amenities for its residents. An outdoor kitchen, gas barbecue, community garden, picnic-style dining tables, outdoor lounge, potting shed for tool storage and a synthetic lawn all make living at 468 West just like owning a home, but without the hassle and expense that come with it.

The building is also pet friendly, with no size restrictions. There will be a pet wash area, a dedicated bike service bay with repair tools, heated storage lockers and bike rooms, secure parcel delivery service and an enclosed parking area.

Monthly rental prices are estimated to be between $1,700 and $3,600 per month with one-, two- and three-bedroom homes available. Utilities are included, with the exception of electricity and cable.

Leasing begins in mid-March. Anyone interested in registering at 468 West can do so here.
