I love watching children when it comes to being a little adventurous.
Most of us likely developed our first responses to fear at an early age. Strangely, that response morphs over the years.

I think for many of us, we would be too intimidated to even try. Yet, what drives that child to try time and time again. I think there are a few very simple points that tie in to what we have been writing about for the past several weeks:
- The child really wants what he sees (grown-ups walking around).
- The child completely believes in his/her ability to replicate the grown up (child-like faith/follow the mentor).
- The child quickly learns that the downside is not that bad - at least with a diaper on.
- The child focuses on the future. When he/she is down, they get right back up and carry on.
- No object is insurmountable.
Sounds like we could learn a lot doesn’t it!
