The team defeated Kelowna Secondary School's Jr. Girls by a score of 55-51.
Reegan Bond led the team with 23 points and Ryenn Schutz added 12.
This feat comes as an accomplishment because the Knox team is made up of entirely Grade 9 students competing in the Jr. Girls Grade 10 division.
In the semi-finals, the team defeated Vernon 71-28 with Bond coming up strong again with 27 points and Avery King adding 20.
Members of the team include Tenny McCarthy, Amelie Guignard, Norelle Shardlow, Havana Martinez and Clarissa Roberts. The team now will be heading to the B.C. Jr. Girls Championships from Feb. 26 to 29 at the Langley Events Center.
