The Battle of Alberta looks like it's back with a vengeance after Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk lined up Oilers forward Zack Kassian, not once but twice Saturday night.
Kassian took exception to the second hit and jumped Tkachuk receiving a two-game suspension for the move, while Tkachuk didn't even receive a penalty for his part in either exchange.
Now a Flames fan is stoking the rivalry to new/old heights by starting a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for billboards with Tkachuck's face on them to go up in Edmonton.

Mohammed Elsaghir took Twitter and GoFundMe to start his campaign.
"After the recent events that took place during the Flames/Oilers game on January 11th. We have decided that Edmonton deserves to see much more of Matthew Tkachuk. So we are raising funds to place multiple billboards around the city of Edmonton with just Tkachuks face on them (and for ALS) Let's make it happen!! Go Flames!!!!"
The GoFundMe has already surpassed the goal of $3,000 and Elsaghir now says he is working on a new plan for the billboards and plans to donate the money raised to the A.L.S. Foundation. He also hopes fans can have some fun with the rivalry and not take it too serious.
The next round in the Battle of Alberta goes in Edmonton Jan. 29 with the rubber match going Feb. 1 in Calgary.
