Mother Nature has put an end to a disappointing season for the Kelowna Falcons.
Sunday's regular season finale against the visiting Bellingham Bells was cancelled due to rain.
The game between the two non-playoff teams will not be rescheduled.
The Falcons, who made the playoffs in each of the past four seasons, finished 2019 with the worst record in the league at 17-35.
"The Falcons would like to thank all of their fans, sponsors and supporters throughout the 2019 season and look forward to bringing more baseball to the Okanagan in the summer of 2020," the Falcons stated in announcing Sunday's cancellation.
