Kelowna's Taylor Ruck has picked up a second medal at the World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, Korea.

Ruck swam the second leg of the women's 4x200 metre freestyle relay, helping Canada to a bronze medal.

She completed her leg in one minute, 56.41 seconds. Canada finished nearly two seconds behind the second place Americans and five seconds back of Australia.

It's Ruck's second bronze at the world championships. She also captured bronze in the 4x100 freestyle relay.

Ruck has also qualified for the final of the women's 100m freestyle. She finished third in Thursday's semi-final in 53.04 seconds.

The final in that race is slated for Friday evening in Korea.

Ruck is also scheduled to compete in the 200m backstroke and 50m freestyle.
