Wyse swims to 2nd gold

Kelowna's Kelsey Wyse has struck gold for a second time in the pool at the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi.

Wyse followed up her gold-medal winning performance in the 400 metre freestyle with a winning effort in the 800 metre freestyle Tuesday.

She captured gold in a time of 11 minutes, 44.46 seconds.

Wyse beat out athletes from Costa Rica and Australia in the race.

She has a chance at a third medal when she competes in the 4X50 metre relay on the final day of competition Wednesday.
