Kevin Hill
Vernon's own Kevin Hill will continue to compete on the international scene after being named to the Canada 2019 FIS Snowboard World Championships team.
Hill was Canada's top finisher at the 2014 Winter Olympics and has been competing at the highest level for years.
The FIS World Championships will be held in Utah Feb. 1-10.
Hill will compete on the snowboardcross event.
Other B.C. athletes named to the Canadian team are Carle Brenneman of Comox and Meryeta O’Dine or Prince George who will also compete in snowboardcross.
Darcy Sharpe, also from Comox, will compete in slopestyle/big air.
