The 2019 BC Junior Curling Championships have come to a close with the reigning World Junior Champions, from Langley and Victoria claiming the junior men’s title.
Team Tardi beat Team Colwell (from Vernon, Kelowna and Invermere) at the Vernon Curling Club to take the title.
It is the fourth year in a row that Team Tardi has won the BC Junior Men’s Championship.
The team won the 2017 and 2018 Canadian Junior Curling Championships and will be looking to win that event for the third year in a row, something which has never been done before.
The 2019 Canadian Junior Curling Championships will be taking place in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan from January 19 to 27.
BC will be represented by Team Tardi in the junior men’s competition and by Team Daniels in the junior women’s competition.
Team Daniels beat Victoria’s Team Reese-Hansen in the final at teh Vernon Curling Club.
