Kelowna Secondary School will celebrate nearly seven decades of basketball.
The KSS Owls Alumni Basketball Association is hosting its annual alumni tournament, Sunday.
The one-day event will bring together players who have suited up for the Owls over the past 65 years.
The current Owls squad will take on seven other teams from across the decades in a double-elimination format.
Alumni expected to compete include 1953 KSS grad three-time medalist at the 2016 Senior Games, Cliff Serwa, Olympic rower Will Dean, three-time Western Canada slam dunk champion Wendell Thomas, 1997 CIS national champion Darren Seminiuk, as well as recent grads Grant Shepard and Mason Bourcier, currently playing at UBC in Vancouver.
The tournament tips off at 10 a.m., and includes a three-point competition just before the championship game at 7. Admission is free with a food donation.
During each of the past four years, the tournament has donated more than 300 pounds of food and other supplies to the Kelowna Women's Shelter.
