Four players now share the lead nearing the midway point of the second round of the GolfBC Championship at Gallagher's Canyon Golf and Country Club.

Zach Wright, Mark Anguiano and Grady Brame Jr. have been joined by Brinson Paolini atop the leaderboard at nine under par.

Paolini fired a three under 68 in the morning during Friday's second round. His card included three birdies, an eagle and a pair of bogey's.

Wright, who finished his final four holes Thursday afternoon at six under to join those at the top, struggled during the second round.

He got it to 11 under at one point Friday morning, but bogey's on 13 and 16 dropped him back to nine under.

Anguiano and Brame Jr. begin their second rounds later in the afternoon.

Taylor Pendrith of Toronto is putting together the best round of round two so far.

Pendrith is seven under through 11 holes to sit at seven under overall, just two back of the leaders.

Kimberley's Jared du Toit, the top Canadian after the opening round at six under, tees off later this afternoon.

The 156-man field will be trimmed to the low 60 and ties following today's second round.

The projected cut-line currently sits at two under.

The final round goes Sunday. The winner will walk away with $36,000.
