Serwa healthy, set for final

Kelowna's Kelsey Serwa has been cleared to compete again.

Serwa said she suffered a mild concussion when she crashed during a World Cup ski cross event two weeks ago in Sunny Valley, Russia.

It was her first race after capturing the gold medal at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

The women are in Megeve, France for the World Cup ski cross final on Saturday.

"Here we gooooo, World Cup finals are in France this weekend and I’m fired up to get back on snow," Serwa said on her Instagram account.

Prior to arriving in France, Serwa spent a few days sightseeing and relaxing in Malta and Slovenia.

Following the finale on the weekend, Serwa will finally return to Canada for the Canadian Ski Cross Championships at Red Mountain in Rossland next week.
