The Okanagan can now boast eight athletes heading to the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.
Kevin Hill of Vernon and Tess Critchlow of Kelowna have both been named to the Olympic team in men's and women's snowboard cross respectively.
Hill, 31, will be competing in his second Olympics.
At the 2014 games in Sochi, Russia, Hill just missed a spot in the final, after falling in the semi-final. He was second in the small final, coming in eighth overall.
He won silver at the 2015 world championships and gold at the X-Games that same year.
He has failed to reach the podium on the World Cup circuit this year, sitting 18th in the overall point standings.
Critchlow, 22, is off to her first Olympics.
She had four top-10 finishes during the 2016-2017 season.
This season, she is 17th in overall World Cup points.
The 2018 Olympics begin Feb. 8 in PyeongChang, South Korea.
