If you become ill in Princeton in July, the doctor may not be in.
Interior Health says there will be some nights, between midnight and 8 a.m., when physician services at Princeton General Hospital's Emergency Department will be limited.
IH says the emergency department will be open during these hours and urgent cases will be seen by the physician-on-call, however, patients with less urgent needs may find they are either transferred to a nearby hospital for care or offered appropriate options.
All patients will continue to be assessed by the nursing staff.
If you are unsure what services you need, you are asked to call Healthlink BC at 8-1-1 for confidential health information and advice from a registered nurse.
