Summer may have come late, but what a fine summer it was. The weather may say summer but the calendar tells us that September follows August and there isn’t much we can do about it. We can still go for long walks along the beach and there’s plenty of time to spend evenings out of doors at social gatherings with family and friends.

Still, despite the feeling of summer not quite gone, there is a nagging feeling that we really should be getting ‘back to work’ or ‘back to school;’ back to our regularly scheduled lives.
It’s time to sit down, take stock and start to make the 'To Do' lists that will take us through the rest of the year. These lists can show you just how quickly time flies and how valuable our time really is.
One of the things that should be on your 'to do' list is to have your teeth checked and cleaned. You may say you don’t have time; however, it’s something you need to find the time for. Without regular check-ups, decay can go unnoticed and lead to bigger issues which can end up costing you more in time and money, not to mention discomfort.
Do you know when you had your last check up? Call your dentist and check in and let them know you are ready to schedule yourself and your family in for their yearly check-up. While you’re at it – don’t forget the teeth cleaning too!
Those of you who are parents know the more time we spend organizing ours and our children’s schedules, the more time you’ll find you have in the long run. Kids simply can’t miss their learning time at school and as adults; we can’t skip work without a financial penalty or two.
We have been treating children and their families for so long, the children are now adults and bringing their children in for check-ups. We understand the importance of time, how quickly it can pass, and we’re conscience of people’s busy schedules.
We strive hard to ensure our scheduling accommodates your schedule, not the other way around. We try not to be late with your appointment, and to use the time wisely and effectively to get your needs accomplished. We’ve also been known to accommodate patients with some extended hours in order to help them get in to see us.
So if time is what is holding you back from getting your dental check-up; wait no more. Give us a call and we’ll see what we can do to help you keep that healthy smile for school pictures, and years to come.
