Thunder Jet boat and trailer was stolen from Salmon Arm

A boat similar to the one pictured was recently stolen in Salmon Arm.

RCMP are trying to find a Salmon Arm boat thief.

Staff Sgt. Scott West says police responded to the theft of the boat and trailer on the 4000 block of 1st Avenue SW on Oct. 1, about 4:20 p.m.

“At some point overnight, suspects cut the lock on the front gate of an industrial compound and stole a blue and silver 2015 Thunder Jet Falcon boat on a silver tandem axle EZ Loader Trailer,” says West.

The B.C. licence plate on the trailer is WKC45M.

The boat is equipped with a Yamaha 150-horsepower motor and a 9.9-hp kicker, light bar and blue canopy. The vessel registration number on the bow of the boatt is BC5044793.

Anyone with information on the theft, or who has seen the vessel or trailer, is asked to call their local RCMP detachment or the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044. An anonymous tip can be made through CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
