Body recovered in Shuswap

The Sicamous Creek Falls trail system is open following the Shuswap Search and Rescue recovery of a body above the falls.

The unidentified man fell to his death Wednesday and SSR conducted a challenging high-angle rope rescue to retrieve the body.

On Twitter, The Columbia Shuswap Regional District announced the trails were open and expressed sympathy to the family and friends of the victim.
