Logging truck loses its load

A logging truck lost its load on the Trans Canada Highway Tuesday afternoon.

At about 4:45 p.m. Chase RCMP arrived on scene to find a logging truck that had lost its load at the intersection of the Trans Canada Highway and Squilax Anglemont Road in Lee Creek.

After investigating police found that a mechanical failure caused the logs to fall off the trailer.  

Traffic control personnel flagged traffic through the intersection while the road was cleared.  

No one was believed to be injured in the incident.
