Seven Vancouver TV stations have applied to televise Vancouver Canucks' Todd Bertuzzi assault trial against Steve Moore of the Colorado Avalanche.
Generally, television cameras are not allowed in BC courtrooms, but that hasn't stopped the stations from filing a joint application Friday.
Bertuzzi will answer to charges of assault causing bodily harm in January for his attack on Moore last March. He could face up to 18 months in jail if convicted.
