A Canadian Federal Court says it's okay to share music over the Internet.
The Canadian recording industry wanted to sue 29 people who had allowed their music files to be uploaded by other computer users.
Today a judge ruled that the industry hadn't shown copyright infringement by the 29 accused. It said the accused had "merely placed personal copies into their shared directories which were accessible by other computer users."
