Poll: Care About Kelowna's Homeless?

A new census on the homelessness situation in Kelowna has been released and the picture is getting any brighter.

The census was carried out in April of this year and a total of 221 homeless people were questioned. Of those, 157 indicated they lived in shelters while the remaining 64 said they lived on the streets. That’s a marginal increase from the last census conducted last November.
