According to a new poll done by CIBC, nine out of ten Canadian mortgage home owners are confident they can afford their mortgage payments, if rates go up by one or two per cent.
Most bank economists are predicting another quarter percentage point hike at the Bank of Canada's next policy-setting meeting Oct. 19.
